SRT began its journey as Specialized Rail Transport in 2004.

In 2012 Specialized Rail Transport purchased Kavanagh Logistics and became SRT Transportation Solutions.  Kavanagh brought the ability to offer customer specific, logistics solutions in all areas of the transportation/logistics supply chain.

In 2019 SRT became a Kasgro company.  Together with Kasgro’s inventory of over 400 heavy duty railcars, from 4-axles all the way up to their 36-axle railcar, and the experience of the SRT team, we have the ability to serve customers large and small.

Much of the team has been working together in rail transportation as far back as 1993 and come from a variety of transportation backgrounds, including heavy haul, heavy lift, trucking, railroads and manufacturing. This helps us understand and coordinate with all parts of the transportation chain to make sure your entire shipment is a success.

SRT continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of our customers and our industry.
