Transportation Review July 2015

2015 RICA Conference

Once again the RICA conference was a successful event. This year our conference took place in Orlando, FL. With over 350 attendees, the opportunity for networking was at an all time high. SRT participated in the Origin to Destination panel which highlighted a complex move from Oregon to Montana. This showcased how SRT Transportation Solutions works to get
the job done. We look forward to next year's conference in Nashville, TN.

When Time is of the Essence, Call on SRT

Recently, we shipped a rotor from a nuclear power plant in Texas to the factory for repairs in December 2014. The repairs were completed and time was of the essence to ship it back to Texas. The dimensions of the rotor were 48' 6" L x 10' 8" W x 10' H x 463,407 lbs. SRT provided the tiedown drawings, complete with the Professional Engineer stamp as requested by the client. We also handled the clearances, car ordering, and expediting while in transit. SRT's Mark Davenport worked closely with local resources to make sure that the rotor arrived for offload before the 4th of July holiday. The rotor was delivered safely and on time.
